The Old Bog Road goes onto part of the bogland in the centre of Ireland. It is down this road that I walk my dog every day. I hope to show the changing seasons through the plant and animal life which we see on our rambles.

After the gale
The recent gales have brought a lot of the chestnuts ( conkers) down and there are bits of twig and leaves everywhere. Hawthorn berries and rose hips along with spindle are also liberally sprinkled around the road.
